Seven Come Leverage-7 Reasons Why Forex Is a Superior Trading Arena for Individuals

Why the self-directed speculator should consider foreign currency trading over stocks, bonds, commodities and mutual funds.

Over the last decade or so, the Foreign Currency Exchange markets and trading platforms have become a superior arena for active individual investors. Trading world currencies for the difference in exchange rates can be a lucrative hobby and a very satisfying lifestyle. Following are some points to ponder when comparing the Forex market with stocks, bonds, commodities and mutual funds.

1. Liquidity

An average day in the Forex market sees approximately 1.9 trillion US dollars worth of trade. Almost every country in the world has institutional and individual traders who are active and have a personal interest in this largest of commodities. Over 7000 international banks and small and large speculators make up the largest market in the world.

2. Leverage

Leverage is the use of a tool to influence the directional trend of a mass that would otherwise be much more difficult to control, if not impossible. Previously only master traders with a $100 million account had access to the inter-bank currency exchange.

With the recent enormous international growth this market is now open to the home computer. Individual traders now have the same leverage guarantees that international banks have had for years. A very small amount of money can be used to control a very large contract of foreign currency. Up to 200:1 leverage is available, and higher in some cases. This means $1000 can be used to hold $200,000 worth of another currency, with a large account.

3. Brokers

As a trader gains experience, a full service paid broker is no longer necessary. All trades can be initiated and terminated from the trader’s choice of office. The home office needs high speed internet, a telephone line, and a computer. Location is only limited to these requirements. The Forex market is operated online by several hundred large banks processing trades of governments and large companies, and has no real central location.

4. Software

A number of free software applications are offered by brokerage houses specifically written for the average home computer. The greater power the computer has will naturally offer more local speed, but most current computers will work fine. These programs offer real-time charting, several dozen indicators, live price feed, or a minimal 10 second delay, and the capability to sell and buy currency pairs immediately online.

Software programs costing $2000 and up are available with advanced features, but are not necessary for the beginning trader. More complicated software may only increase the education period, and hinder time better spent learning trading strategies.

5. Hours of Trading

The Forex market is truly global, trading 24 hours a day every day. Short periods during the weekend have slower activity, but with time differences around the world, these periods are minimal. The Asian market opens Sunday evening in North American time, and all markets run continuously until Friday afternoon. Someone is actively trading somewhere virtually round the clock.

6. Live Practice

Most brokers offer a free demo version of their live software, easily downloaded and installed. No account deposit is needed. The programs work exactly like the real versions, with buy/sell capability, real-time data updates; a realistic $50,000 account with active profit and loss; open, pending and closed trades; and actual stop, limit and market trades.

The trader can practice trading tactics until confident and successful.

7. Initial Investment

Recent developments now allow a minimum account deposit of US$250. This mini-account offers lower leverage, but also lower profit and loss. Once a broker learns to trade profitably, this can easily be built into a larger and fully leveraged account.

A minimal $300 investment can realistically be compounded into a $30,000 account in six months, with access to proper training. Brokers naturally offer conservative training courses, so the trader should look elsewhere for more advanced mentoring. Much training is available on the internet, and a website called Precise4XSuccess.com offers access to cutting-edge successful strategies developed by a mathematician. Not all successful strategies are made public. Do your due diligence to find the methods that work for you.

8-45. This article promised to stop at seven, but there are at least several dozen more reasons why the individual speculator might consider foreign currency trading. It is a lucrative, fascinating and very rewarding occupation that can be done almost anywhere and any time you choose to trade.

Good trading, Kelly Archibald.

The Newest Evolution of Viral Marketing

The basic premise behind current Viral Marketing strategies is that a document, PDF file or email with the author's URL (the address of the author’s sales website) embedded in it is designed to be freely circulated on the Internet. Two possible requirements are necessary to make the piece find its way around the web on its own merits. One prerequisite is that the content must be of sufficient quality so that someone other than the original author will forward it to other recipients for free, or a pre-arranged Joint Venture payment. It must contain helpful or useful information, usually a small excerpt from a larger course or document that is for sale. A second option is that the writing must be compelling enough to generate enthusiasm or the apparent conspiracy of previously unreleased information that will lead to untold wealth. As more and more people forward the item, the URL of the sales website falls into the hands of greater and greater numbers of potential customers. The whole point of the exercise is cheaper and more effective advertising to elicit greater sales from customers that may have otherwise not been aware of the available product line.

To persons with a medical background, or anyone whose life has been affected by a real virus, the term ‘Viral Marketing’ is obviously abhorrent. Please remember this is only an imaginary model of a singularly efficient organism. Just as twenty years ago a ‘bad’ car really meant a very good car to those in the know, ‘Viral’ Marketing is only an analogy.

The virus is one of the oldest creatures on earth, and has developed the most effective means of replicating itself. In the simplest of explanations, a virus is a short chain of molecular RNA. A virus is not believed to actually be alive, but exists only to create more of itself. Once it invades a living cell, the viral RNA uses the host cell’s DNA to replicate another complete strand of its RNA. A protein coating then envelops the new identical virus, and it escapes on its way. The protein jacket is enzymatic, and used to either mate with the walls of a new host cell and force an entry, or trick the cell into letting the virus inside.

Viral RNA -> Viral DNA -> Viral Protein

Irresistible Message -> Viral Document -> Exponential Distribution

The part of this process that an Internet Marketer wants to emulate is the replication, and subsequent self-powered web-wide distribution. The email or document itself is the protein envelope, and the context of the message is akin to the RNA. The expectation of priceless information is the enzymatic action the author must initiate. The words must be powerful enough to cause the reader to replicate, or forward, the message to others, without hesitation.

This is the current common system of Viral Marketing. At only one location on the grid, this has now evolved one giant step further.

A retrovirus is exponentially more powerful than the average garden-variety virus. This collection of molecules invades a cell, and uses the host DNA to create viral DNA, which then replicates RNA for perpetual distribution.

The Virtual Cell in today’s World Wide Web is the forum. Many forums are set up by a single guru, and various other near-gurus join to share technical knowledge and post very specific questions. The trouble with this type of cell is that the bulk of the membership will invariably be composed of eager beginning marketers. These ‘newbies’ are often self-conscious when posting queries in the public forum, and remain mostly on the sidelines, lurking, but not expressing their opinion. Unfortunately, a forum of intermediate programmers and Internet Marketers will not include the basic DNA building blocks necessary for beginning individuals to succeed.

To form a Virtual Cell where complete transcription of DNA may take place, it must be headed up by a Mentor. This model will allow less-experienced Internet Marketers a comfort zone, where they may ask the necessary beginner questions without their self-imposed embarrassment. The Mentor can then help the members quickly develop their knowledge with proven methods. The Mentor can also orchestrate affiliate sales of his product line and eliminate unprofitable systems before they become entrenched, and discourage the fish. Every member of the Virtual Master Cell that makes the grade can establish new potential sales point nodes on the web.

Viral RNA -> Viral DNA -> Viral RNA -> Viral Protein

Irresistible Message -> Virtual Cell w/ Mentor -> Successful Partners

The ideas and knowledge of the Mentor are the RNA to be transcribed into fresh minds. With the complete DNA blueprint of a successful Internet Marketer, the Mentor, or Originator, can engineer lucrative future projects. The Virtual Cell will grow on its own strength, feeding voraciously off new ideas, and the finale is a Virtual Master Mind.

A new grid of sales point nodes will be laid overtop of the internet, and a greater group of individuals will develop confidence and success. The Mentor has now replicated his success blueprint into a veritable army of affiliates and possible partners. With the Virtual Cell model, and a Virtual Master Mind that matures of its own accord, success will come much faster for all involved. Success begets success.

Now whether this archetype is by intentional design or auspicious evolution, only the Internet Profit Mentor himself knows for sure. The next advancement of this system will be published in the near future. Check back again soon to where you found this article in the first place.

How a Regular Human Can Find Their Niche

The big buzz-phrase at the beginning of 2006 is ‘Niche Marketing’. If you find your niche and market it like crazy, the gurus cry, you can be a zillionaire by March. Great.
So where is this niche, and how will you recognize it when you stumble into it?

Many expensive courses are offered teaching Internet Marketing, and most have some important links missing. How does the average person find their niche, without a background in marketing? As a beginner, you may just want to supplement your current income, and hopefully, eventually, quit your day job. The very average advice offered for hundreds of dollars is ‘find your passion, research on the internet and Clickbank, develop your own product, and there you go. So let’s help you expand this into a sensible plan.

Grab a pen and paper, and try some new ideas. What did you want to be when you grew up? If you really are a fireman or train engineer, you have an excellent niche, with a lot of information and stories to tell. If you aren’t what you planned to be when you were twelve, take it up again now, study your dream occupation, and become an armchair expert.

Do you have a hobby you are passionate about? Not everyone does, and passion means different things to different people. What subject do you love to talk about that no-one else you know will join you in? What are you willing to keep talking about even when no-one else is willing to listen? These favourite subjects of yours show the basis of passion. The internet is the new galaxy here on earth, and there’s bound to be people outside your little sphere who want to hear what you have to say, and might be willing to pay for that opportunity.

Take notes the next time you go to a magazine rack. What are the first three magazines that grab your attention? Each could be your general niche to start with. Look through your book collection at home, and find a common theme that is obvious, or have someone else do that for you.

A niche can be defined as ‘a position particularly well suited to the person who occupies it’. Where you see yourself fitting in the best might be your niche.

If the place that suits you best is not the number one hot topic on the internet today, that’s ok. Start with one subject that you feel eager to work with, and build a working knowledge that you can develop into an information project. The practice you gain can be used to make a second niche for yourself, and a second on-line business.

There are many other ways to find your little piece of the net, and I’ve found an extremely valuable resource with three free ebooks and several hours of video that will help you generate more ideas than you will be able to deal with in a lifetime. All you need really is sitting in your head right now, you just need the keys to unlock it.

All Hits Are Not Created Equal

    - by Jim Edwards

    =====================================

In the end, it all comes down to this...

After all the debate over website design, shopping carts
and credit card processors, every website owner eventually
comes to the startling realization that they need one more
thing to survive - website traffic!

Without website traffic it's the same as building an
expensive billboard and, instead of placing it alongside a
busy highway, you hide it in your basement where nobody can
    see it.

Upon realizing they need traffic, most website owners run
out and start blowing chunks of money and time trying to
get "hits" to their sites, but they fail to realize that
all "hits" are not created equal.

In their quest to get eyeballs to their websites, most
online operators don't realize there's a big difference
between driving "general" traffic to your website and
    driving "targeted" traffic.

Just getting *any* old traffic is the same technique TV
    advertisers use.

They flash ads on the screen in front of people who can't
afford or don't need the advertised product. Since general
advertising can't hit specific targets, they hit everyone
and hope that someone in their target audience is actually
    watching at that moment.

Spam, banner ads, "safe-lists" and similar traffic
techniques fall into this same "general" category.

    On the other hand...

"Targeted" traffic is made up of people who are genuinely
interested in what you have to say or sell online.

These people either share the same interests or have an
immediate need or problem they are trying to solve.
"Targeted" traffic is best because the people hitting your
website have a much higher likelihood of actually making a
    purchase.

Targeted traffic comes from people following recommended
links on other sites, typing in relevant keywords into the
search engines, or even reading articles you've written on
a particular subject and then clicking over to your site
    for more information.

If you don't already know where to find the best sources of
targeted traffic for your website, you will need to
experiment with lots of different sources to find the ones
that bring visitors who give you the most "bang for your
    buck."

The fastest way to determine which avenues provide the most
targeted traffic is by using an "ad tracker".

An "ad tracker" is a simple program, residing on your web
server, that tracks how many visitors your site gets from a
particular source and how many of them purchased.

Though it sounds simple, most businesses don't do this!

Most businesses can't tell you their visitor to buyer
conversion percentage and, therefore, don't know exactly
how much they can invest in traffic generation and remain
    profitable.

Whether you pay for your website traffic with cash (pay-
per-click search engines, ezine ads), or you pay for it
with the sweat of your brow (article distribution, free
search engines), you must identify your best and most
profitable sources of targeted traffic that convert into
    buyers, subscribers, or leads.

Failure to identify and *track* where your buyers and
subscribers come from -- and then calculate how much they
really cost you -- ultimately translates into failure for
    your online business.

How to Make This Year Your
    Best Year Ever

    By Yanik Silver
    www.SurefireMarketing.com/
    http://www.33daystoonlineprofits.com/

    ===================================

Every year I've been in business for myself online
has been better than the previous one. Recently, I
decided to create an "Apprentice" program (Yes, even
before Trump) and I was extremely pleased that we
had nearly 100% of my Apprentices get an online
    venture up and running.

I've gone back and thought about their projects and how
they developed and I came to a striking conclusion that
will be worth a lot of money to you this year if you heed it.
There was one key aspect that got them off their butts and
making money and it came down to one thing...

    ...A Deadline!

As simple as that sounds, once a firm deadline was
established that's when the rubber met the road and all
obstacles melted away like snow flakes in a frying pan.
I'll give you a perfect example for one Apprentice we were
going back and forth a bit tidying up some finishing
touches on the project and trying to get it out the door.
Many times people can try to make everything too perfect
and it never gets out making money so we said we are
launching this project at the LIVE Apprentice Summit. That
was it and that was final.

The date of the Summit was getting closer and closer and I
could see this Apprentice start to sweat a bit. But I made
him make the commitment to this deadline publicly during
our group call and he couldn't back out now.

Fast forward to the day of his launch he had multiple
obstacles that would normally have put the project on hold
get swept away but not now. With the firm deadline in place
and the opportunity for him to be embarrassed our fine
Apprentice finished his project. We hit the 'send' button
and he made a tidy sum from a tiny list over the weekend.
And this was just the start because his project has made
well into the five figures already. And why did it get
    finished?

    The deadline once again.

What's your deadline for your first project or your next
    project?

Is it something that's in your head? Not a good idea. It's
pretty easy to keep moving that forward or letting other
    things take precedence.

Who knows about your deadline and who's going to hold you
to it? In some cases it's not a good idea to share your
deadline or goal with another person, especially if they're
the kind of negative energy vampire a lot of well-meaning
friends and family are. But if you've got a group of
colleagues all with the same thinking use them. This works
especially well if you don't want to look like an "idiot"
in front of them and they are people you really respect.

I'll tell you what works for me and maybe it'll work for
    you too.

For me, I work best when I absolutely "have to" perform.

For instance my first product on Internet marketing
might never have been made (or at least it would have taken
much longer) if I didn't sell it before it was done. In 2000
when I first started marketing online a lot of people wanted
to know exactly what I did and how I started making money
    so fast.

Well, I got my first opportunity to share my story in
Atlanta at an Internet seminar. I was extremely nervous and
my heart was beating out of my chest to go talk in front of
100 strangers. I gave my presentation and then I sold this
    product (yet to be created).

I told people it would be delivered in a few weeks so they
knew it was a prepublication offer. I walked away with 10
orders at $200 bucks. All well and good except I couldn't
charge anyone until the manual was done. Even though it was
only $2,000 (less what I had to pay the promoter)

I knew that at least people wanted this information and I
could keep selling it once I finished it. I probably had a
week or two of 3 o'clock in the morning work sessions but I
completed it and charged the cards. I was under pressure to
get the manual done because these people paid me (though I
didn't charge them) and I owed them the material.

Since then I've updated my course material and it's been
worth well into the six figures just because "I had to
    do it".

How can you set something like this up for yourself? If you
can stand the pressure - you can decide to put on a tele-
seminar. This is one of my favorite ways of creating
product by a deadline. You can do either a one-time tele-
seminar or series of tele-seminars and you get paid to
produce the product. How great is that? It doesn't matter
if you have 1 person or 1000 people on the call because
this is forcing you to create product and perform.

Once you've set your deadline for anything you'll
"magically" see certain resources fall into place. Trust
me, it's a bit eerie but when it occurs every time you set
a firm deadline you know there's something to it. Just the
act of making the decision sets these events into motion
for you. It's also because what you focus on becomes your
reality. Your perception has changed. Your internal
"radar" is now attuned to resources, allies, etc that can
help you get your project completed.

Now I leave you with one more secret...Set "mini
    deadlines".

When you're looking at the whole task of setting up an
Internet business (or anything really) it's easy to get
overwhelmed. But if you break everything up into small
tasks with their own deadlines you'll be at your
destination before you know it. I promise it'll work for
you. In fact, that's one of the reasons I really like
Franklin planner systems (now Franklin Covey). I've been
using them since 1998 and that's when I first started
making some significant changes in my life.

Actually the founder of Franklin, Hyrum Smith has a great
book called "The 10 Essential Laws of Time and Life
Management" - this should be required reading for you!

Even though I hate ad slogans (since they don't work) this
one should become your mantra for the year - "Just Do It".

As cliché and overused as it is - that's all it comes down
to. Whether you're willing to roll the dice and put
yourself out there a little. I promise whatever the worst
case scenario you're thinking, it is far from the reality.

And if you need someone to send your deadline list to - go
ahead and email it to me. I'll keep it confidential and
we'll celebrate together when you reach your destination.
